The Conficker virus, also know as Downadup or Kido virus (or more recently as April fool's Day or April 1 virus), has been responsible for infecting millions of computers around the world and is rumored to become more aggressive and harder to remove.
It targets people who use the Microsoft Windows operating systems, such as the very popular Windows XP or Window Vista (as well as Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003 and 2008 and the new Windows 7 Beta).
However, if you receive automatic updates from Microsoft for your computer, you don't need to worry, as your PC is going to be safe!
