Why Spyware Removal Becomes a Necessity
Why Spyware Removal is More Essential While Internet Surfing
One fine evening you purchase some books from amazon.com and the next morning you find that your credit limit has been reached on the credit card. You open up your favorite browser and check your statements and find that credit approximately equal to your credit limit has been stolen from your card just after you purchased that book. You think that you did not do that. But then who did that? The Answer is: There are a few nasty Programmers around the globe that would infect your system with a kind of software that logs even your key strokes. So when you enter your credit card credentials, they get the details of your credit card and they just go somewhere and get that cash transferred or buy a service online.
This, in fact, has been a Big Headache for many people who has an habit of purchasing their requirements from Internet. Such softwares are know as Spywares. Spyware has a extremely small footprint (a max of few kb) and are always active in Stealth mode so you can never tell whether you are infected by a Spyware if you do not use the prevention measures discussed below. They record all your internet and system activity and then sends the reports generated to the person who created it and that data is then used against you.

How My Computer Got the Antivirus 360 Virus
An Article About the Nasty Computer Virus that Wiped Out My Computer
Most of us are not geniuses when it comes to the workings of our computers. When we get a pop-up that tells us that our software needs updated, we obey. Unfortunately, the evil people who create computer viruses know this and are taking full advantage. I would like to share with you how my entire computer got wiped out and my credit card security was jeopardized all because of the Antivirus 360 virus.I don't know a lot about computers, but I do know that I have antivirus software installed and know that it's important. One day, my computer screen started going completely blue with a message telling me that I had an out of date version of my antivirus software. Then, after a while, the computer would either start working again or restart. I tried to ignore it for a while, but the problem persisted. Since my computer had never lied to me before or played any ugly tricks, I decided to do what it told me. After all, I run updates on it all the time and everything always turns out fine.
The next time something popped up about an antivirus update, I clicked on the suggested link to get it done. It took me to a very legit looking website that said I could purchase the Antivirus 360 software for $59.95. While I wasn't thrilled about it, I figured that it would be better than having my computer freeze up every 10 minutes. I entered my credit card information and purchased the software. (Authors note: I do realize that entering my credit card info was especially stupid on my part.)

Microsoft's Conficker Virus
Microsoft has Offered $250,000 as Reward for Information on the Conficker Virus
The fact that Microsoft has offered $250,000 as reward for giving information about the originators of the Conficker virus shows that the computer giant has been seriously hurt. An estimated 9 to 15 million computers around the world have been infected with the deadly virus. The Conficker virus has spread like a wild fire amongst many computers all over the world.Conficker has proved to be an extremely smart virus. It disables all security features and system-restore points like starting your computer in safe mode before it begins its malicious activities. It makes complete copies of itself on other computers in the network, propagating itself through LAN and removable drives. Once it has established itself in the computer, it connects to a remote server to download additional pernicious software to achieve its deadly objectives.
Large corporations, including defense computer networks of several countries across the world have been at the receiving end of the attack from this powerful virus. Moreover, some security experts believed that the real payload was to be delivered on the 1st of April and the virus was just infecting computers, getting ready for the d-day. However, this has not turned out to be true since we are already well into April. Nonetheless, the problem of the currently infected computers remains unresolved. Business users who have applied the security updates and are using the latest anti-virus definitions are safe from the virus. But those who have not done so are still vulnerable.
